M--Hello, San Pedro. My name is Fran Weissenberg and I wondered if I could have a conversation with you. You don't know me, but I have been looking at you for the last four years.
S--Looking at me four years. Then it's about time we met.
M--Thank you. I wanted to talk to you because we've both lived our lives in the 20'h century.
S--What a century it's been!
M--Yes! Wars, depressions, holocausts.
S--Yes, yes but what about the good things. The walk on the moon, incredible advances in technology, in medicine.
M--You're right.
S-- And don't forget while the 20"' century is so outstanding, other centuries have also made their mark.
M-I'm sure.
S-The first century that gave us our savior is surely outstanding.
M-I'm Jewish, San Pedro.
S-So was Jesus Christ.
M-Which brings me to the reason for our discussion, you see, I thought who could I discuss aging with better than with a church who has gone through so much.
S-Yes, yes. This sacred church has worn many petticoats-a home, an art studio, a movie house and more. But the ground always continued to be sacred.
M-Your steadfastness is to be admired. But my life hasn't been so easy wither. My daughter, Debbie had R. A. since she was sixteen ....
S-Ah, yes, Children!
